What Is Polished Concrete?
Think of polished concrete like sanding wood — but with industrial-grade tools and transformative results. At Resin Revive, we use powerful grinding and polishing equipment to gradually smooth your concrete surface, achieving a glossy, reflective finish that enhances both appearance and performance.
Concrete polishing is more than just a shine. We densify the concrete to make it harder, stronger, and dust-proof. You can even personalize your floor with creative touches like coloring, borders, scoring, radial lines, grids, and more — turning plain concrete into a sleek, modern statement.
Whether it's a home, showroom, or warehouse, polished concrete offers a clean, high-end look that’s incredibly easy to maintain.
What Are The Benefits Of Concrete Polishing?
- Long-Lasting - Polished concrete can easily last anywhere from 20 years to a lifetime as long as it receives proper care and maintenance.
- Cost-Effective - If you are working with an existing concrete slab, you don’t have to pay for any other floor coverings. Since concrete is also extremely durable, you do not have to worry about the replacement costs that come with other surfaces.
- Environmentally Friendly- You do not require coating, cleaners or adhesives to protect or maintain polished concrete.
- Versatile - Concrete polishing allows for various options in terms of stains, dyes, and decorative elements, enabling you to give your floor a unique aesthetic.

Our Proven Installation Process
At Resin Revive, we follow a detailed, step-by-step process to ensure your polished concrete floor is both stunning and strong:
- Concrete Grinding – Using diamond-grit machines, we grind down the surface in stages to expose fresh concrete.
- Crack & Divot Repair – We patch cracks and divots using high-strength epoxy to create a smooth surface.
- Densifier Application – We apply a chemical hardener that densifies the surface, making it harder and dust-proof.
- Polishing Stages – The surface is polished in multiple passes using increasingly finer grits for a smooth, glassy finish.
- Staining or Decorative Options (Optional) – Add color, logos, borders, or custom designs to personalize your floor.
Who is polished concrete NOT For
Polish and seal concrete isn't ideal for every situation. We typically don’t recommend this method for concrete that's severely damaged or for surfaces exposed to heavy vehicle or machinery traffic.
In dry climates, it's also not the best choice for garage floors or high-traffic warehouses, as the sealer may wear down faster and require frequent reapplication. For long-term durability in those environments, other flooring solutions may be more suitable.
